The remote control was used as a design testbed to explore form, proportion and interaction. Different directions were developed to find a winning visual language where explorations establish the foundations of a scalable design system.

A refined metal wand
The design is based on a U-shaped metal extrusion, optimised to reduce manufacturing complexity and cost. The internal channel becomes the interface, hosting controls as integrated volumes rather than conventional flat buttons.
Scalable design principles
The metal profile that contains the interface becomes a transferable design principle. It can be applied across different products, from handheld controls to architectural devices, ensuring consistency while adapting to scale and function.
